Amos Barr Hostetter, Jr. (born January 12, 1937) is an American businessman, who was the founder, chairman, and CEO of Continental Cablevision. With an estimated net worth of around $2.6 billion, he is ranked by Forbes as the 521st richest person in the world as of 2012. He has also served as the chairman of C-SPAN. ==Biography== Hostetter is the son of the late Amos Hostetter, a prominent trader at Commodities Corporation and Hayden Stone. At the time of the company's sale in 1996 to US West, it was the largest privately owned cable company.
